A smaller, well-established public accounting firm in Dayton, OH specializing strictly in Tax Services — preparation, review, payroll, and bookkeeping — with no audit work. The firm is looking to bring on a Tax Senior who can grow with the team and eventually take on an ownership role in the future. This is a unique succession opportunity for someone who not only has strong tax skills but also has the drive to step into leadership and ownership over time.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual and business tax returns Provide payroll and bookkeeping support to clients Assist with client advisory and support services Partner with leadership on workflow and firm management Build toward long-term leadership and ownership of the firm

Qualifications:

CPA or EA preferred, or actively working toward licensure (to sign off on reviews and step into ownership role) Experience in tax preparation and review Strong interpersonal and client service skills Entrepreneurial mindset with desire for firm ownership in the future What's in It for
