$75,000 - $90,000 per year Job Details - An established professional services firm in Midtown Oklahoma City is seeking a full-time Senior Tax Associate to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment supporting individuals, businesses, and professional clients with tax preparation, financial analysis, and advisory-related projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both individual and business tax preparation, strong analytical abilities, and the professionalism to work with confidential financial information and complex client matters. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, corporations, and trusts Analyze financial records and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness Assist in the preparation of financial schedules, worksheets, and exhibits for valuation, advisory, and financial dispute matters Perform bookkeeping and account reconciliations for business and individual clients Communicate directly with clients regarding tax filings, financial documentation, and information requests Correspond with the IRS and state taxing authorities regarding notices, filings, and compliance matters Conduct account analysis to identify tax planning opportunities, deductions, and credits Support financial reporting and organizational projects for closely held businesses and high-net-worth clients Maintain current knowledge of tax laws, compliance regulations, and accounting standards Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy Qualifications 3+ years of experience in individual and business tax preparation Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred CPA, EA, or CPA-track candidate strongly preferred but not required Strong understanding of corporate and individual taxation principles Experience with bookkeeping and financial statement review Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Lacerte, and/or UltraTax CS preferred Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly and professionally High level of discretion and attention to detail What We Offer Competitive compensation with annual performance and salary reviews Flexible compensation structure based on experience and contributions Collaborative and team-oriented environment Exposure to a diverse range of tax, financial, and advisory projects Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Long-term career growth within an established firm Industry Professional Services / Legal & Financial Advisory A bit about us: - Our client is a multidisciplenary firm in Oklahoma City that combines legal, tax, and accounting services within one practice.
