Your expertise will help clients navigate complex tax landscapes while maintaining adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory standards. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail Assist in the development of financial models to support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to ensure compliance with tax laws and industry regulations Collaborate with clients to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively Support auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and insights into financial statements Monitor changes in financial regulations and advise on necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance Utilize financial software and spreadsheets to organize data, perform calculations, and generate reports that inform decision-making Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and modeling Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP standards, and tax accounting practices Experience with financial software used for tax preparation, accounting, or audit purposes Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations and compliance requirements Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex financial data accurately Project management abilities to handle multiple deadlines efficiently Effective client communication skills to explain technical information clearly and professionally Background in finance or accounting combined with relevant industry experience in tax or auditing is highly desirable
