Candidates who are considered for permanent employment must be able to work onsite in the Orlando, FL area. Sanford Rose is seeking Tax Analysts to support a large, established organization with several key corporate tax initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working with large financial data sets, performing detailed analysis, and taking ownership of project-based work. The Tax Analyst will partner closely with an established corporate tax team to extract and organize financial information, perform tax-related calculations, validate data, and help develop repeatable processes and documentation for future use. This role offers the ability to work fully remote during the contract assignment and may provide an opportunity for long-term employment based on performance and organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
Extract, review, and organize financial data for corporate tax projects Run financial reports and analyze large volumes of transactional data Perform tax calculations using established methodologies and guidelines Validate financial information for accuracy and completeness Populate and maintain standardized Excel templates Research expense classifications and tax treatment as needed Support sales tax, property tax, and other corporate tax-related initiatives Partner closely with the Tax Department to ensure accurate calculations and reporting Develop repeatable templates, procedures, and supporting documentation for ongoing tax processes Manage project responsibilities independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Qualifications:
3+ years of corporate tax experience Strong experience working with large financial data sets and complex, project-based assignments Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and formulas Experience extracting, organizing, validating, and analyzing financial information Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work independently Experience with Workday or similar ERP/financial systems is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and project deadlines At Sanford Rose Associates•JFSPartners, we specialize in Finance & Accounting, Legal, and Information Technology recruitment, dedicated to helping professionals like you discover the perfect career opportunities.
