The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance. This role is essential in ensuring accurate tax reporting and adherence to relevant laws, including securities law and estate law. The Tax Analyst will work closely with various departments to support tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure compliance with applicable laws. Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial records related to tax obligations. Assist in regulatory reporting and ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Proven experience in tax accounting or public accounting is preferred. Strong understanding of securities law and regulatory reporting requirements. Familiarity with technical accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Proficient in using accounting software; experience with Quickbooks is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex tax information.
