We invest in our employees because we know their success drives our firm's success. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including individuals, businesses, non-profits, and trusts. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and nonprofit organizations. Conduct tax research and assist with planning strategies to help clients minimize tax liabilities and achieve financial goals. Communicate with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide tax-related guidance. Assist with tax projections, estimated payments, and year-end planning. Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with managers and partners on client engagements and special projects. Maintain accurate workpapers and documentation Support IRS and state tax notice resolution and audit assistance as needed. Identify opportunities to improve client service and internal processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and or Masters in Accounting CPA license or CPA-track candidate preferred. 1-5+ years of public accounting and tax experience preferred. Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations. Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
