Handle quarterly payroll return filings for a portfolio of S-Corp clients
Prepare 1040s (with Schedule C and E), 1120-S, and 1065 returns for small and mid-size business clients
Work directly with the firm owner on complex client matters Within 12-18 months:
Hand off quarterly payroll to an incoming Staff Accountant
Review and sign off on returns prepared by junior staff
Lead client meetings independently
Step into the Tax Manager role What We're Looking For
Active CPA or EA required
3-5 years of public accounting or tax experience
Comfortable with business returns — S-Corps, partnerships, sole proprietors
QuickBooks Online experience a plus
Strong communicator — you'll be client-facing from day one
Genuinely wants to grow into management — not looking for someone to stay in their lane
