About the Role This Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and tax engagements across a diverse client base. You'll work closely with senior team members and clients while contributing to day-to-day accounting operations, tax preparation, and broader client support initiatives. Key Responsibilities Prepare individual and corporate tax returns Support payroll, bookkeeping, and business accounting functions Maintain financial records and assist with monthly reporting activities Provide full-charge bookkeeping support for multiple clients using QuickBooks Assist in analyzing financial records and identifying accounting discrepancies or audit-related issues Collaborate with internal team members to support client deliverables and deadlines Support a variety of client accounting and tax-related projects as needed Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent accounting experience Experience within public accounting or a tax/accounting-focused environment preferred Exposure to bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation work Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Willingness to support a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and tax responsibilities Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset Additional Details The firm offers strong benefits, PTO, 401k match, CPA assistance, tuition reimbursement, and continued professional development opportunities.
