Role Description The Tax & Bookkeeping Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Irving, TX. This role manages day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records for the firm and selected client accounts. The advisor prepares and reviews financial statements, supports basic tax preparation processes, and helps ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Daily responsibilities include working with accounting software, monitoring cash flow and expense categories, and collaborating with leadership to provide clear financial insights that inform business decisions. The role also involves communicating with internal stakeholders and clients to clarify financial information, answer questions, and support a transparent, client-first experience aligned with Regal's advisory culture. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including accurate recording of transactions and maintaining organized ledgers. Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements to support decision-making and tax-related activities. Proficiency with accounting software and related digital tools commonly used in small business and professional services environments. Knowledge of finance fundamentals and experience creating and posting journal entries in an accounting context. Relevant experience in tax support, bookkeeping, or accounting within professional services, insurance, or similar industries. Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-responsibility environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
