- Conduct scheduled inventory audits at independent automobile dealerships.
- Verify the physical presence of floor-planned vehicles.
- Scan and verify Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs).
- Photograph inventory using company-provided mobile technology.
- Compare physical inventory with company records and identify discrepancies.
- Complete electronic audit reports accurately and on time.
- Communicate audit findings promptly with management.
- Build positive, professional relationships with dealership owners and employees.
- Represent KCS Floor Plan with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
- Travel throughout an assigned territory while maintaining an organized schedule.
Qualifications The ideal candidate is:
- Honest, dependable, and committed to doing the right thing.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Friendly, professional, and confident interacting with customers.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications.
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- In possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is beneficial but not required:
- Automotive dealerships
- Auto finance or commercial lending
- Floor plan financing
- Vehicle inspections
- Insurance adjusting
- Inventory management
- Banking or financial services

- Walk dealership lots throughout the day.
- Stand, bend, kneel, and enter/exit vehicles as needed.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
