Job Description

Position Overview:

This position plays a key role in serving the citizens of Rockbridge County by providing excellent customer service and assisting with a variety of tax and clerical functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist the public in person and by phone with courteous and professional service Process personal property filings Administer meals, lodging, and admission taxes Perform general clerical and administrative duties Utilize tax assessment software and meet established deadlines

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with the public and as part of a team Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks Experience with office software; knowledge of tax systems is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:
