Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Tax Office Manager to lead and oversee all operations within our tax office. This pivotal role involves managing daily administrative functions, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining excellent client service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering efficient financial and administrative support. As a key leader in our team, you will drive operational excellence and foster a positive work environment that promotes growth and professionalism. Responsibilities Supervise daily office activities, including scheduling, client communication, and staff management to ensure smooth operations Oversee bookkeeping, accounting processes, and financial software such as QuickBooks to maintain accurate records Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and coordinate procurement of office supplies and services Handle human resources functions including staff training, development, performance evaluations, and maintaining confidential personnel information Coordinate tax-related tasks such as preparing documentation for audits, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and managing payroll processes Organize and plan events or community outreach initiatives related to the tax office's services Maintain organized filing systems, manage multi-line phone systems, calendar appointments, and front desk duties to optimize office efficiency Requirements Proven experience in office management within a financial or medical office setting with strong clerical skills Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and other financial management tools Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules, deadlines, and multiple priorities simultaneously Strong communication skills for client interaction, team coordination, and vendor negotiations Knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting practices Experience handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting Prior experience in event planning or community outreach is a plus Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and office management systems Join us to lead a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional tax services!
