full-time The Tax Manager/Tax Partner will oversee all aspects of the firm's tax practice, including tax compliance, tax planning, client advisory services, staff development, and strategic growth initiatives. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients while helping build and mentor a high-performing tax team. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the firm's tax practice serving high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, partnerships, S-Corporations, and LLCs. Provide sophisticated tax planning and consulting services related to income tax, estate and gift tax, wealth transfer strategies, and business succession planning. Review and sign tax returns, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements. Maintain and expand trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients, family offices, attorneys, bankers, and wealth advisors. Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide proactive planning strategies. Mentor, train, and develop tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and client service. Manage tax practice workflows, deadlines, staffing, and profitability. Stay current on evolving tax legislation and advise clients on related impacts. Participate in business development activities, including networking, client referrals, and community involvement. Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
