Job Description:
CPA Tax Manager - West Palm Beach, FL (Onsite) Established, multi-office CPA firm seeks a hands-on Tax Manager to lead daily tax operations and supervise a small team. This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical expertise, leadership, and a self-directed work style.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and review tax compliance for: Corporations, partnerships, and individuals Trusts and estates Oversee and mentor: 2 Bookkeepers 1 Staff Tax Accountant (potentially evolving team structure) Perform hands-on tax preparation and review Provide tax planning strategies for clients Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulations Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key advisor Work independently with minimal oversight in a collaborative, no-blame culture
Qualifications:
CPA required 5-8+ years of public accounting tax experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning Proficiency in QuickBooks Online preferred Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Ability to work in-office daily (no remote/hybrid)
Compensation & Schedule:
Salary:
$125,000 - $140,000
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (onsite)
