Job Description
- Basic Function
- Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting seeks a strategic, customer-focused Senior Product Manager to define and deliver outcomes across the tax product lifecycle.
- Essential Duties and responsibilities
- Strategic Direction & Product Definition + Synthesize customer feedback, practitioner insights, product usage data, competitive intelligence, market research, and business objectives into clear problem statements and product opportunities.

- Job Qualifications
Education:
Required Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience required.Preferred areas of study:
Accounting, Tax, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Related fieldsPreferred:
CPA, Master's in Taxation, MBA, or related advanced degree preferred.Experience:
+ 5+ years of product management or related experience. + 5+ years of tax preparation, tax review, public accounting, tax technology, or related practitioner experience. + Demonstrated success managing B2B SaaS, workflow, platform, tax technology, or enterprise software products. + Experience with tax preparation and review workflows, including experience with K-1s, pass-through entities, partnerships, and complex tax engagements. + Experience translating practitioner workflows and customer problems into product requirements and product direction. + Experience working directly with customers to identify problems, validate solutions, and improve outcomes. + Experience working in Agile product development environments. + Experience driving product launches, commercialization activities, and cross-functional execution. + Experience leveraging data and metrics to inform product decisions.Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

- : Ability to define product vision, prioritize investments, make trade-off decisions, and connect strategy to measurable outcomes. +
- Tax Workflow Expertise
- : Deep understanding of tax preparation, review, K-1 processing, pass-through taxation workflows, practitioner decision-making, data movement into returns, exception handling, and firm operating models. +
- Customer-Centric Discovery
- : Demonstrated expertise in customer research, practitioner workflow analysis, jobs-to-be-done analysis, journey mapping, and problem validation. +
- Commercialization & Growth
- : Experience supporting product commercialization activities, including positioning, pricing, packaging, launch readiness, adoption, and sales enablement. +
- AI Readiness
- : Strong understanding of AI and generative AI concepts with the ability to leverage AI as a force multiplier across discovery, workflow design, experimentation, planning, and execution activities. +
- SaaS Product Management
- : Experience managing cloud-based products with usage-based metrics, continuous delivery, and iterative product development practices. +
- Technical Fluency
- : Ability to understand technical concepts, APIs, integrations, platforms, and engineering trade-offs while translating business needs into product direction. +
- Data & Analytics
- : Ability to utilize quantitative and qualitative insights to drive decision-making, monitor outcomes, and improve product performance. +
- Communication & Influence
- : Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority. +
- Execution Excellence
- : Strong organizational, prioritization, and execution skills with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

Compensation:
- $85,600.00 - $149,400.00 USD This role is eligible for Bonus. _Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
