Tax Manager

Tax Manager $120,000 – $130,000 We're seeking a Tax Manager to take ownership of a growing tax function within a dynamic organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring full tax compliance while also driving forward-looking tax strategies that support overall business objectives. This opportunity is ideal for a CPA with strong corporate tax experience who is ready to step into a more strategic, hands-on leadership position with visibility across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns across corporate, partnership, and individual filings Develop and execute tax planning strategies to optimize the company's overall tax position Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies Manage IRS and state audit processes, including documentation, analysis, and communication Oversee ASC 740 tax accounting and partner with finance during close and reporting cycles Supervise, mentor, and develop junior tax staff Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate tax processes and controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred) CPA certification required 5+ years of progressive tax experience with prior leadership or supervisory responsibility Strong technical knowledge of corporate, multi-state, and tax accounting (ASC 740) Experience with tax software (OneSource, CCH, Vertex, etc.) and ERP systems Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Why Join Opportunity to own and shape a growing tax function High visibility within a financially strong, expanding organization Strategic role with both compliance and planning responsibility Supportive, collaborative team environment Competitive compensation and strong benefits package EB-1198961310
