Corporate Tax Manager Location:

Chicago, IL (On-Site) We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing global manufacturing organization specializing in lightweight metal solutions. This role will be responsible for corporate tax compliance, tax provision reporting, audit support, tax planning initiatives, and international tax matters across multiple domestic and international entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal, state, and local corporate tax returns, including Form 1120 filings. Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740. Support FIN 48 analysis and tax risk assessments. Review tax projections, financial statements, and transactional documents. Partner with accounting, finance, operations, and external advisors on tax planning and compliance initiatives. Support transfer pricing documentation and analysis for cross-border transactions. Assist with M&A activities, entity structuring, and strategic growth initiatives. Support tax audits and maintain strong internal controls over tax processes. Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise leadership on business impacts and opportunities. Support international tax, payroll tax, property tax, and other specialty tax matters as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field. CPA, CMA, MST, JD, or LLM preferred. 8+ years of corporate tax, international tax, or public accounting tax experience. Strong knowledge of

ASC 740, FIN

48, tax provisions, and corporate tax compliance. Experience with Form 1120 filings and multi-state tax environments. Exposure to transfer pricing, OECD guidelines, and international tax concepts preferred. Manufacturing, industrial, metals, or multi-entity corporate experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting audits, tax planning, and complex business transactions. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills preferred.
