Job DescriptionMoving mobility and industry forward takes strategic vision—and a sharp legal mind. As a Tax Counsel for Bosch North America, you will not just monitor compliance; you will serve as a critical strategic partner in shaping our corporate footprint. Sitting at the intersection of law, finance, and cross-border commerce, you will lead the tax strategy for high-stakes mergers, acquisitions, and post-merger integrations across North America.
If you thrive on navigating complex international tax landscapes, mitigating risk, and collaborating with cross-functional executive teams, this is your platform to make a massive organizational impact.
Act as tax interface for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in North America, including (but not limited to):structuring transactions to achieve tax efficiency and minimize risksmanaging tax due diligencereviewing and negotiating tax provisions in M&A agreementsGeneral tax planning with matrix business unitsSupport post-acquisition integration and legal entity simplification initiativesCollaboration with business units, legal, finance / accounting, treasury, and HR departments and external tax advisors on corporate transactionsProvide tax legal guidance on domestic and international tax issues affecting business operations, including commercial contract reviewSupport permanent establishment (PE) reviews and transfer pricing models for intercompany agreements, while defending positions during transfer pricing controversies.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction3 - 5+ years of relevant tax advisory experience with accounting firm, law firm, or in-house multinational corporationStrong knowledge in: corporate tax, international tax, transfer pricing, and cross border transactionsContract drafting and negotiation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong English communication skills, both orally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
LL.M. in TaxationPrior experience working within a large, multinational manufacturing or technology organizationFamiliarity with BEPS, Pillar Two, and global minimum tax developmentsAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans•Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
