RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and review income tax provisions in accordance with GAAP Prepare and review required Federal tax forms Assist with IRS audits Assist with tax planning opportunities, M&A transactions, modeling tax impacts of proposed legislation and capital planning projects Develop a strong working relationship with internal and external clients Collaborate with external auditors to provide support throughout audit cycle Support day to day activities of US tax operations. Prepares, analyzes and reviews state income tax provisions. Prepares and reviews internal management reporting, and external financial statement disclosures. Assist in analyzing changes in accounting principles or tax law. Prepare and review of state returns, supporting documentation, and disclosures. Assists with technical review of transactions. Assists with tax law change analysis and technical research. Assist with responding to information document requests pertaining to state tax audits. Participate in tax planning initiatives or quantifying state & local tax impacts of company strategic initiatives. Prepares, analyzes and reviews state income tax provisions. Prepares and reviews internal management reporting, and external financial statement disclosures. Responsible for performance-management related activities. Participates in strategic and tactical goal setting for the group and is accountable for delivering results.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required Master's degree in Tax preferred C.P.A. At least 5 years of tax experience Proficiency in state tax provisions for financial accounting and reporting Proficient in federal to state modifications to taxable income Experience with process improvements and utilizing technology Strong organizational and communication skills Solid research skills
