Job Description

Senior Tax ManagerPosition OverviewThe Senior Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance and planning for our clients, ensuring adherence to all regulations while maximizing tax efficiency. This role requires extensive knowledge of tax laws and the ability to provide strategic advice and guidance to clients across various industries.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and review tax compliance for corporate clients, including federal, state, and local tax returns.

Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients in various sectors, including real estate, construction, and manufacturing.

Collaborate with clients to identify tax-saving opportunities and develop tax strategies that align with their business goals.

Lead tax audits and interact with tax authorities to resolve any issues that arise.

Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and training on tax-related matters.

Stay updated on tax law changes and assess their impact on clients' operations.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA designation required.

Ideally, 10+yrs of Public Accounting experienceStrong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience in specific industries such as auto dealership, real estate, construction, or manufacturing is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
