Job Description

Tax ManagerRequirement:
Be able to work on-site 4-5 days/week in Bloomfield Hills office.

Position OverviewThe Tax Manager will oversee and manage the tax preparation and review process for individual and business tax returns. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing exceptional service to our clients while leading a team of tax professionals.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and review tax returns for individuals and businesses to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.

Prepare complex individual and business tax returns as needed.

Provide guidance and support to junior tax staff in the preparation and review process.

Identify and implement tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions.

Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate impacts to clients and team members.

Assist in training and mentoring new team members on tax processes and best practices.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation and review experience.

Proven experience with individual and business tax returns.

Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

CPA certification is preferred.
