Job Description

Senior State & Local Tax (SALT) Manager A reputable public accounting firm is looking to add a Senior State & Local Tax (SALT) Manager to their growing tax team. This stable and well-established firm provides clients with comprehensive tax consulting and compliance services across a variety of industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced SALT professional to lead client engagements, mentor staff, and contribute to the expansion of the practice.
Senior SALT Manager Responsibilities:
Lead and manage State & Local Tax consulting and compliance engagements Research and analyze complex state and local tax issues Advise clients on state tax planning, compliance, and tax-saving opportunities Manage client relationships and provide exceptional client service Review technical tax work and ensure quality and accuracy Oversee, train, and mentor tax professionals Assist with practice development and business development initiatives
Senior SALT Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field Active CPA required (MST preferred) 8+ years of State & Local Tax experience in public accounting or industry Strong technical knowledge of state and local tax matters Proven leadership, communication, and client management skills Ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
