Job Description

Job Summary The W Tax Group, a tax resolution company founded in 2014 and headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, is seeking a full-time dedicated professional to provide unparalleled customer service as a Case Manager for the company's contracted tax resolution clients. Primary Function Facilitate completion of the tax resolution strategy for W Tax Group clients through direct contact, assignment of tasks to support service team members, and oversight of open file progress. Related Duties Provide clients with status updates with information procured from received notices, legal counsel and account notes. Provide a single point of contact for clients and relay their concerns and requirements to sales and/or supporting services as needed via phone, text, email and regular mail. Review IRS and state tax authority correspondence to determine what action is required. Point of contact for sales staff for advice, support and mentorship of resolution procedures and potential outcomes, pricing, documentation requirements, case management software profile data and file notes. Preparation of IRS and state tax authority documents for company representation of taxpayer clients and communication of information needed to resolve tax issues. Maintain up to date understanding of federal and state tax returns necessary for filing of various personal and business entities. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Background in tax preparation and/or resolution is not required but desirable. Enrolled Agent status highly desirable. Computer literate; proficient in using Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and other relevant software desired. Possess an assertive and outgoing personality. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player. Strong ethical principles and high level of professionalism.
