This role offers the opportunity to guide tax engagements across corporate, partnership, nonprofit, and individual client accounts while supporting a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical tax knowledge, leadership capability, and a desire to contribute to the continued growth of a long-standing practice with meaningful advancement potential.

Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and review of tax work for corporations, partnerships, and individual clients, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Provide strategic tax planning guidance to help clients address current obligations and prepare for future financial decisions. Oversee the completion of financial statement write-up services and related accounting support for a varied client base. Manage the preparation, review, and filing process for business entity returns in compliance with applicable regulations. Supervise and mentor tax staff, offering direction on engagements and promoting high-quality client service. Advise clients on entity-related tax matters, including organizational structure and ongoing compliance considerations. Support business development efforts by strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand services. Coordinate multiple engagements at once while maintaining quality standards, deadlines, and effective communication with stakeholders. 7+ years of tax experience within a public accounting environment. Demonstrated background handling complex corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns. Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, corporate tax compliance, and annual income tax provision work. Experience with C corporation taxation, partnership tax matters, and entity formation considerations. Ability to manage client engagements independently while also leading and developing team members. Solid analytical skills with close attention to detail and accuracy in tax reporting. Effective communication skills for presenting tax guidance clearly to clients and internal teams.
