Tax Manager | Future Equity Partner | Farmington, CT (Onsite) Gpac is partnering with a well-respected local CPA firm on Long Island, NY seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team and move into an equity partnership within five years as a senior partner transitions toward retirement. This is a tight-knit firm that serves closely held businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals . They pride themselves on a collaborative, no-drama culture; everyone contributes, and everyone is treated fairly.
What You'll Do:
Manage client engagements for business, partnership, and individual tax compliance & planning Review complex returns and provide advisory guidance Assist clients with financial statement preparation and related support Lead and mentor staff in a hands-on, team-oriented environment Help drive firm growth and operations with a path to equity
What You'll Bring:
CPA required (or nearly complete) M.S. in Taxation preferred 10+ years of public accounting experience Comfortable with a consistent tax season workload (~55 hrs/wk) Strong communication and leadership skills
