This opportunity is ideal for someone with solid public accounting experience who is comfortable managing tax engagements, working directly with clients, and taking on increasing responsibility within a collaborative firm environment.
Responsibilities may include:
Prepare and review individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, fiduciary, and other tax returns Manage multiple client engagements and tax deadlines Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance as needed Research tax issues and assist with tax planning and compliance matters Communicate directly with clients regarding tax questions, planning opportunities, and required documentation Work closely with partners and managers on more complex tax engagements Assist with workflow coordination and staff development based on prior supervisory experienceQualifications:
Several years of recent public accounting / CPA firm tax experience Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance Experience preparing and/or reviewing business and individual tax returns CPA license or CPA-track background preferred Strong organizational, communication, and client-service skills Prior experience supervising, reviewing, or mentoring staff is highly valuedCompensation:
Salary is competitive and will be based on the candidate's overall experience, technical tax background, level of client responsibility, and prior management or supervisory experience.
