Full-Time Accounting & Tax Manager for Established CPA Firm—Bellevue, Everett or Duvall/ Hybrid schedule Please note specific instructions for submission at the end of this post. The typical workweek at The Akopyan Group is 35 to 40 hours—our staff almost never needs to work overtime, aside from rare occasions where a few extra hours may be necessary. What you'll do at The Akopyan Group. Ultimately, this position is about more than simple accounting: We want to play a vital role in the success of our clients, providing guidance and advice that helps them make the right decisions for their business. Duties will include (but are not limited to) the following: Supervising/assisting our staff accountants in preparation of financial statements with your monthly clients Handling new client installation and backwork Analyzing financial statements and communicating with clients Preparing tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and individuals Preparing financial projections Preparing tax projections and conducting tax planning meetings with clients Providing computer support to clients as needed What you need to apply 5 years of accounting experience (required) 3 years of professional tax experience (required) Knowledge of Thomson Reuters suite of products (required) A bachelor's degree (required) Current CPA license (preferred) Enrolled agent status (preferred) What you need to succeed in this role High motivation and a friendly, energetic attitude Strong professionalism Solid communication skills—whether face to face, phone, virtual or written A task-oriented mindset and multitasking capabilities Current knowledge of technology/software (MS Office suite, video) Ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and meet deadlines What you'll be eligible for as our new team member Salary commensurate with experience Potential bonus and commission pay 401(k) with company match Health/dental/vision insurance Paid time off Flexible scheduling, including ability to work from home at times Very limited to no overtime Instructions for submission Please submit a resume, references and a cover letter or a short 1-minute video telling us about how you can help us support our small-business clients.
