Job Details Established boutique CPA firm with a longstanding reputation for serving high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned tax professional looking to take ownership of complex client engagements while progressing toward a Partnership Track role. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in high-net-worth individual taxation, trust and estate planning, and client advisory services, along with a desire to help shape the future growth of the firm. Key Responsibilities Review and prepare complex federal and multi-state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses Develop sophisticated tax planning strategies and projections for clients Lead IRS examinations, notices, and tax controversy matters Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key client relationships Review corporate, partnership, and individual tax engagements as needed Provide technical research and guidance on complex tax matters Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and practice development Mentor and develop staff and senior-level team members Qualifications CPA license preferred 10+ years of public accounting tax experience Strong expertise in high-net-worth individual, trust, and estate taxation reviewal experience Experience reviewing complex Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, and 1120S Advanced knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Base salary: $170,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience Clear Partnership Track opportunity for the right candidate Hybrid schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days remote 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays Professional development and continuing education support Ideal Candidate This role is well suited for a Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager, or Tax Director who enjoys working directly with high-net-worth clients and sophisticated trust and estate matters and is seeking a long-term leadership opportunity with a pathway to firm ownership.
