full-time Our client, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), has retained us to bring them a Tax Manager. We have been completing searches for Westfield and URW for over 20 years, including their current Vice President - Head of U.S. Tax. They are pleased to offer a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in their Century City offices and one day per week working remotely. Opportunity Summary:

The U.S. Tax team is evolving to support business growth, REIT readiness and a more planning-oriented operating model. The Tax Manager will work closely with the VP of Tax and other tax leadership on tax planning, structuring, modeling, provision and transaction support across a complex real estate platform. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong tax professional who can help build models, prepare analyses, document positions, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

Scope of Role:

Prepare tax planning and structuring analyses for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, reorganizations and other strategic transactions. Prepare step plans, gain/loss calculations, debt allocation analyses, 704(c) analyses and other supporting calculations for proposed and completed transactions. Prepare technical memoranda and documentation supporting key tax positions, transactions and planning initiatives. Prepare and support the U.S. income tax provision under IFRS and U.S. GAAP, including supporting schedules and return-to-provision analysis. Support REIT readiness, REIT testing, withholding/dividend analyses and coordination with third-party advisors and partners. Coordinate with finance, legal, asset management, development, operations and external advisors on transaction execution and tax-sensitive commercial matters. Assist with tax compliance and operational processes, including estimates, notices, tax payments and tracking obligations, as needed. Work within tax systems and data flows, supporting system updates, process improvements and data integrity across provision, compliance and forecasting tools.

What We Are Looking For:

Ideally 4-5 years in partnership taxation at a Big 4 or equivalent Strong in partnership taxation with 704(c), real estate experience preferred Good communication skills both verbal and written Willingness to write memos and document files Hands-on tax modeling and forecasting experience, including transaction modeling and scenario analysis. A desire to grow professionally and be challenged Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, legal teams, finance teams and outside advisors.

Compensation / Package
