Job Description
Tax Manager Wayne, PA 19087 Full-time Full-time Tax Manager Fairman Financial located in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Tax Manager. Fairman Financial is a boutique firm providing a full range of independent, objective wealth management, strategic planning, accounting and tax advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families. We are currently seeking exceptional tax talent to join our rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple complex tax engagements from start to finish
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tax engagements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Keep up to date with current changes in tax legislation and regulations
- Effectively discuss and communicate complex tax matters with clients and team members
- Review tax returns, typically, individual, fiduciary, and gift tax returns; knowledge of partnerships preferred.
- Review multi-year tax projections and assist with quarterly planning
- Identify and communicate tax savings opportunities
- Assist with tax examinations, tax research, and other projects
- Collaborate with team members from other service lines
- Serve as a mentor and assist with training and development of staff and interns
- Provide constructive and actionable feedback
- Assist in evaluating technology and software
- Identify, initiate, and communicate process improvements
- Contribute to a positive work environment Qualifications
- 7+ years of tax compliance experience; 1-2 years management experience preferred
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple engagements simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong research skills to analyze complex tax issues
- Ability to delegate work effectively; clearly communicate expectations and provide guidance
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to adapt to new technology
- Experience with tax preparation software; CCH Axcess is a plus
