Responsibilities include training and supervision of staff, meeting with assigned clients to advise them on tax strategies and compliance with IRS and state regulations, and in some cases review and supervision of SSARS engagements. A tax manager will also be in a position to serve as a trusted advisor and in some cases be the primary point of contact for clients.
Requirements:
- CPA license with minimum 5 years of appropriate CPA firm experience
- Minimum of 2 years reviewing tax returns for individuals and business entities
- Ability to maintain effective and ongoing client relationships
- Experience supervising and training staff
