We're looking for a Tax Manager who wants more than a seat at a desk. You'll lead a talented team, work with a sophisticated client base, and help shape a firm that's actively expanding into year-round advisory services. What You'll Do Review and sign off on individual, business, and fiduciary returns (1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120, 1041), ensuring accuracy and quality Manage a diverse client portfolio that includes high-net-worth individuals, small business owners, Schedule C filers, and trust clients Lead, mentor, and develop preparers and reviewers, building a culture of learning and accountability Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering proactive tax planning, not just compliance Handle IRS and state notices, amendments, and correspondence with confidence Help build and refine our year-round advisory offerings and improve internal processes Partner with leadership to keep deadlines on track and workload balanced across the team What You Bring CPA or EA credential required 5+ years of tax preparation and review experience, ideally in a public accounting setting Strong command of individual, pass-through, and fiduciary taxation Experience with Lacerte or similar professional tax software Leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into it Clear, client-friendly communication skills Comfort with cloud-based tools and enthusiasm for finding smarter ways to work Why You'll Love It Here Flexibility that's real: Remote-friendly work built on fully cloud-based systems Modern tools: We invest in technology so you spend less time on data entry and more time on meaningful work Interesting clients: A mix of complex, high-net-worth, business, and trust engagements keeps things engaging Room to grow: We're expanding, and your ideas will directly shape where the firm goes Supportive leadership: An experienced team that values your judgment and backs your decisions
