The opportunity This is a well established, referral driven CPA firm that has built its reputation the old fashioned way. Strong client relationships. Good work. People staying for the long term. No politics. No revolving door of staff. No pressure to become something they're not. The firm has deliberately remained lean, profitable and focused. Now they're looking for a strong CPA Tax Generalist to help support the Partners, manage client relationships and play an important role in the future growth of the practice. This is not a compliance factory. You'll be working directly with clients, making decisions, mentoring staff and helping shape the direction of the practice. The environment Busy season averages around 55 hours. Annual hours are actively monitored and capped. Some preparation work is outsourced. The firm has already been using AI tools for several years. The goal isn't to squeeze every possible hour from people. The goal is to run an efficient business and provide a high level of service to clients.
