Join Our Team as a Tax Manager We are seeking a Tax Manager with 6+ years of current public accounting tax experience and the ability and desire for continued professional growth. This role works closely with individuals, families, and closely held or owner-managed businesses across a range of industries. This opportunity is ideal for someone who brings strong technical tax knowledge, enjoys developing client relationships, and wants to contribute leadership skills within a supportive, team-based environment.Duties Include:
- Manage and review individual, business, trust, estate, and other tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and technical quality.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by identifying planning opportunities, answering tax questions, and supporting thoughtful decision-making.
- Work directly with owners, managers, and staff to coordinate client engagements and ensure deadlines are met.
- Research and resolve complex tax matters involving individuals and closely held or owner-managed businesses.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to staff and senior accountants.
- Review workpapers, tax projections, and related client deliverables.
- Maintain strong client relationships through timely, professional, and proactive communication.
- Assist with workflow management, scheduling, and prioritization during peak filing seasons.
- Support staff development through mentoring, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in firm initiatives, process improvement efforts, and business development activities as appropriate.
- Cultivate referral contacts and contribute to the continued growth of the firm.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Have 6+ years of current public accounting experience in taxation.
- Demonstrate strong, in-depth knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
- Identify opportunities for problem solving and planning related to complex taxation issues.
- Bring experience reviewing multiple concurrent individual and entity income tax returns.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, colleagues, and firm leaders.
- Enjoy working directly with clients and building long-term advisory relationships.
- Mentor staff and contribute to a diverse, collaborative team environment.
- Be proficient with industry software applications and comfortable learning new technology.
- Appreciate opportunities for continued professional skill development.

- Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
- Active CPA license, IRS Enrolled Agent credential, or tax attorney license (JD).
- 6+ years of current public accounting tax experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience serving closely held businesses, owner-managed businesses, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and investment entities.
- Experience with tax planning, technical research, and client advisory work.
- Experience mentoring or supervising staff in a public accounting environment.
- Familiarity with CCH Axcess or similar tax and document management software.

This is a full-time position that generally works Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Additional hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required during peak tax deadlines throughout the year.Benefits:
