POSITION SUMMARY
Ross & Moncure is seeking a high-energy full-time or part-time advisor to handle complex advisory on federal and state tax issues for high-net-worth individuals and closely-held businesses. You will own the technical analysis on multi-jurisdictional planning, partnership allocations and structuring —advising both external clients and internal tax professionals. This role focuses on technical depth rather than client management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
The ability to research, comprehend and explain the implications of evolving compliance requirements The ability to comfortably interact with clients in person or via phone, as needed Proficiency with ProSystems tax software, Bloomberg tax research tools and Claude by Anthropic

Ross & Moncure is a public accounting firm specializing in the taxation of small and medium-sized business enterprises (SMEs), high-net-worth individuals, multinational individuals, non-immigrant visa holders, freelancers and contractors, and the US operations of foreign corporations.
COMPANY CULTURE
Ross & Moncure is a small firm with a family-like atmosphere. Our office is largely open-plan. Team members are expected to be available to one another to consult on client issues throughout the day. Projects are delegated from the top, and performance is measured in terms of output and client satisfaction

Outside of tax season, the firm is extremely flexible in terms of hours (we are open to off-season flex-time arrangements, and last-minute vacations are almost always approved).
