Responsibilities:
- Review complex individual and business tax returns while providing advanced tax planning and consulting services
- Serve as the primary advisor for key client relationships, delivering proactive tax strategies and exceptional client service
- Lead technical tax research, compliance, and representation involving federal, state, and local tax matters
- Coach, mentor, and develop tax professionals through technical guidance, work review, and ongoing professional development
- Support firm growth through client relationship expansion, process improvements, operational initiatives, and strategic planning
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required, with a Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred
- Eight or more years of progressive tax experience
- CPA or EA certification required
- Advanced expertise with individual and passthrough entity taxation, strategic tax planning, GAAP, and federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Proven experience managing client relationships, mentoring team members, reviewing complex tax returns, and providing strategic tax guidance
