WebsterRogers LLP is hiring a Tax Director, Real Estate in Charleston, SC. This is a full-time position. We are seeking an experienced Tax Director to help lead our Real Estate Tax practice in Charleston, SC. As a Tax Director, you will: Manage and oversee the tax compliance process for real estate partnerships, including the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns, estimates, and extensions.
Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns and related forms, including form 1065 and K-1s.
Manage financial performance of engagement, including billing and budget for assigned projects.
Lead and manage client engagements from start to finish ensuring they are completed within the defined budget and timeline.
Provide continuous and proactive communication with clients, striving to exceed expectations.
Identify opportunities to improve tax operations, offer thoughtful solutions and enhancements to our processes.
Coordinate with team members on all phases of a tax engagement.
Provide timely and constructive feedback, training, and mentoring to leveraged team members based on review of work.
Own the financial performance of your engagements, including billing and budget for assigned projects.
Contribute to practice development efforts by garnering referrals, engaging with the community through active involvement in the Charleston community to represent WebsterRogers and explore market growth opportunities.
Stay up to date with tax law changes and accounting related developments and best practices. Were Proud to
