Job Description

Senior Senior Tax Manager About Our Client Our client is a growing multi-family office and tax advisory firm serving business owners, high-net-worth individuals, real estate investors, and successful professionals. They provide sophisticated tax strategy, wealth advisory collaboration, and insurance coordination - delivering a family office experience without the full-time family office overhead. The firm operates in a structured, high-performance environment with clear accountability and strong internal systems. They value proactive advisors who think strategically, communicate clearly, and build long-term client relationships. Client Requirements (Critical for Submission) Our client is specifically seeking candidates who meet the following: Licensed CPA, EA, or Attorney (must be eligible to represent clients before the IRS) 6-10+ years of progressive tax experience Public accounting or professional services background Experience managing HNW individuals and closely held business owner portfolios Strong client-facing advisory experience (this is NOT a compliance-only role) Ability to translate complex tax matters into clear, actionable executive-level recommendations Experience reviewing staff-prepared returns and mentoring junior team members Hands-on experience with Partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps Based in DFW or willing to relocate to
Rockwall, TX Highly Preferred:
Estate, trust, and gift tax experience Multi-state compliance experience Real estate professional status / passive activity loss expertise Experience with professional tax software (UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar) The Role This individual will manage a portfolio of approximately 50-100 clients, representing complex tax structures including: Multi-entity business structures Real estate portfolios High-net-worth individual returns Estate and trust matters Strategic tax planning engagements This role blends technical expertise with advisory leadership. The ideal candidate must be comfortable serving as a trusted advisor - proactively identifying tax planning opportunities and guiding clients through complex financial decisions. Key Responsibilities Client Advisory Serve as primary advisor to assigned client portfolio Deliver strategic tax planning recommendations Communicate complex tax concepts in clear, executive-level summaries Proactively identify planning opportunities Maintain long-term client relationships Technical Leadership Review complex individual, entity, estate, and trust tax returns Provide guidance on multi-state and specialty tax matters Represent clients before the IRS when necessary Collaborate with leadership on advanced tax positions Team & Process Development Train and mentor tax staff Ensure quality control across all deliverables Identify and improve workflow efficiencies Contribute to advisory service expansion initiatives
