PAYROLL TAX MANAGER
Location:

San Antonio, Texas (On-Site)

Compensation:

$85,000

•$95,000 or (DOE)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll and payroll tax processing across all entities. Manage payroll and tax production metrics, ensuring operational goals, deadlines, and performance targets are achieved. Oversee and balance payroll processes to maintain accuracy, compliance, and production efficiency. Lead day-to-day payroll and tax operations, monitoring team performance and production output. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance staff knowledge and capabilities. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Collaborate with team members and leadership to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Experience with multistate payroll processing. Multistate tax production experience. At least three years of management experience, overseeing five to seven staff members. Solid understanding of multi-entity payroll operations. Direct experience processing in-house payroll.

PREFERRED

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) status preferred, not required. Accounting or finance degree is a preference, not mandatory. Experience with large scale (multi-entity, multistate) payroll environments. #LI-AB1 #
