Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Develop and implement U.S. tax strategies, policies, and compliance programs to optimize tax liabilities. Oversee federal, state, local, and indirect tax compliance and filings. Manage external tax audits, consultants, and government auditors. Identify and implement tax planning and savings opportunities. Provide tax guidance on business transactions, restructurings, and strategic initiatives. Advise executive leadership, finance teams, and business units on tax matters. Oversee sales & use, real estate, personal property, fuel, and other indirect taxes. Support the CFO and leadership team on tax governance, risk, and financial compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA required; Master's in Taxation preferred. 10-15+ years of progressive tax experience in corporate or public accounting. Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws. Experience with tax planning, compliance, audits, and indirect taxes. Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and advisory skills. Experience with SOX/internal controls preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities and external advisors effectively.
Pay:
$1.00 - $10.00 per year
