This role focuses on handling complex individual and small-to-medium business tax returns while providing strategic tax guidance to clients. Responsibilities Prepare complex individual tax returns (K-1s, capital gains, rental properties, Schedule C, D, E, F, etc.) Prepare small to medium-sized business tax returns Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation Research and apply tax laws and regulations Identify deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities Review and finalize returns for accuracy and compliance Provide tax planning guidance to clients Requirements Active CTEC registration (California Tax Education Council) Proven experience preparing complex tax returns Strong knowledge of federal and California tax laws Experience with tax software ( Drake preferred ) Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines This vibrant role invites motivated professionals eager to grow their expertise in tax preparation while delivering outstanding service.
