You will be responsible for performing tax preparation with supervision. This position may also provide technical guidance to less experienced staff. The tax preparert contacts clients to resolve minor tax matters. This role performs tax preparation, assist with tax planning and audits as well as accountant analysis under direct supervision and may be assigned tax in-charge responsibilities. Essential Functions Prepares tax returns and performs tax research. Help Responds to tax notices from taxing authorities Reviews tax information supplied by client; will meet with or contact client regarding general or complex tax questions. Recognizes, anticipates and resolves tax issues; makes recommendations. Markets firm services to existing and prospective clients. Meets productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours).
