Duties Prepare and review individual, business, and corporate tax returns accurately and efficiently using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other financial software tools Analyze financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and bookkeeping records to determine taxable income Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and provide guidance on tax planning strategies Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by staying current on relevant laws and updates Conduct thorough data entry using 10 key typing skills to ensure precise input of financial information Support marketing efforts by communicating the value of our services to prospective clients through outreach and consultations Collaborate with team members to resolve complex tax issues and provide exceptional customer service throughout the process Experience Proven experience in public accounting or a similar role involving tax preparation and accounting functions Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including corporate accounting, bookkeeping, and technical accounting principles Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or comparable financial tools Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently Excellent math skills combined with analysis skills for interpreting complex financial information Prior experience in sales or marketing within a financial services environment is a plus Familiarity with tax regulations, filing procedures, and compliance requirements is essential Join us to leverage your expertise in finance and accounting while helping clients achieve their financial goals!
