The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of managing a high volume of tax compliance work, and confident interacting directly with clients. This role offers meaningful opportunities for growth, ownership of engagements, and long-term stability within a well-established firm. This position is fully in-office in Boston. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Collect, organize, and analyze client tax data and supporting documents. Accurately input data into tax software and maintain well-organized digital files. Communicate directly with clients to gather information, clarify issues, and provide updates. Collaborate with tax managers and partners to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are completed on time. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional and firm quality standards. Provide informal guidance and support to junior staff, as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or EA license (or actively pursuing) preferred. 2+ years of tax preparation experience preferred (public accounting or equivalent). Strong understanding of individual, partnership, and corporate tax concepts. Proficiency with CCH ProSystem and/or CCH Axcess, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Experience with TaxDome is a plus. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
