In this vital role, you will provide expert tax advisory services, prepare and review complex tax returns, and advocate for clients during audits and disputes. Your expertise will help individuals and businesses navigate intricate tax laws with confidence, ensuring compliance while maximizing benefits. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and file federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities with precision and attention to detail Represent clients before the IRS during audits, appeals, and collection proceedings with professionalism and integrity Provide comprehensive tax planning advice to optimize financial outcomes for clients Stay current on evolving tax laws, regulations, and IRS procedures to ensure compliance and best practices Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients of varying levels of understanding Assist clients in resolving tax issues by preparing necessary documentation and negotiating with IRS representatives Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions, filings, and correspondence for audit readiness Experience Active Enrolled Agent certification issued by the IRS is required Proven experience in preparing individual and business tax returns with a strong understanding of federal and state tax codes Familiarity with tax software platforms such as Drake, ProSeries, or Lacerte is preferred Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial data accurately Strong communication skills to explain technical information clearly and confidently Ability to manage multiple client cases efficiently in a deadline-driven environment This position is ideal for motivated professionals eager to apply their tax expertise in a collaborative setting that values integrity, continuous learning, and client advocacy.
