Accountant/Tax Preparer

About us Henderson & Associates, PLLC is a small business nestled in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley in Hamilton, MT. Our goal is to work as a team to serve our clients, while maintaining a healthy work/life balance for our team members. We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team. This position will focus primarily on tax return preparation and accounting, so tax preparation experience is a must. The preferred candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA designation or working towards being a CPA.

Responsibilities:

Preparing tax returns, payments, reports and maintain a company's tax database Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications
