Job Description
Our firm is seeking a tax preparer with experience preparing complex individual (1040) and entity (1120, 1065, 1041) tax returns. Proficiency in financial accounting is essential. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with skills and experience. This is an in-office position; candidates wishing to work remotely need not apply. While limited overtime (generally 5 hours per week during peak weeks in March, April, September, and October) may be necessary during peak deadline weeks, we strive to manage the workload so that employees may maintain a work/life balance. Our goal is to serve our clients to the best of our abilities while treating each employee as a valued part of our work family, treating each client and employee as an individual rather than a cog in a corporate machine. Medical insurance is provided; dental, vision, and disability insurance are available but are not covered by the employer.
Responsibilities include:
- Tax interviews and preparation (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041)
- Tax planning
- Preparation of financial information as necessary to complete tax returns Benefits include:
