Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures, to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions and addressing concerns
- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Analyze financial data and apply relevant tax laws to maximize deductions and minimize liabilities
- Utilize accounting software to input and organize financial information
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and ensure accuracy of information
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tax preparation or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using accounting software and other relevant tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
