Duties Prepare individual, business, and corporate tax returns with precision, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations Manage bookkeeping tasks using accounting software, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for clients' financial growth Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining complex financial concepts clearly, and offering tailored solutions Assist in marketing efforts to attract new clients through outreach, presentations, and community engagement Maintain accurate records of all tax filings, bookkeeping entries, and client communications for audit readiness Support sales activities by promoting additional financial services that meet clients' needs Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles, public accounting practices, and technical accounting standards Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Solid understanding of tax experience including preparation procedures and regulatory requirements Excellent analysis skills to interpret financial data accurately and efficiently Ability to perform 10 key typing swiftly with high accuracy for data entry tasks Effective communication skills for customer service excellence and marketing initiatives Familiarity with financial concepts related to corporate accounting and bookkeeping practices Math proficiency combined with attention to detail to ensure precise calculations and recordkeeping This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in tax preparation and bookkeeping within a supportive environment.
