Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tax Preparer or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team and deliver exceptional financial services to a diverse client base. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in tax preparation, accounting, and financial analysis to ensure accurate reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and strategic financial planning. Whether you're preparing individual tax returns or managing complex corporate accounts, your proactive approach will help clients optimize their financial health and meet their goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact clients' success and peace of mind. 2+ years of tax preparation experience and a working knowledge of Quickbooks Pro are required. Duties Prepare and review individual, business, estate, and trust tax returns with precision and adherence to current tax laws and regulations Conduct detailed financial analysis, including balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation Assist clients with estate planning strategies, wills, trusts, and estate law considerations to optimize their legacy planning Manage corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, payroll processing, and regulatory reporting Utilize accounting software including QuickBooks Pro and other financial software tools for bookkeeping, asset management, and financial report writing Develop comprehensive financial reports interpreting complex data to inform strategic decision-making for clients in various sectors including non-profit organizations and investment firms Requirements Proven experience in tax preparation with a strong understanding of tax experience across different industries Certification as a CPA or relevant tax preparer experience Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports and perform account analysis effectively Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple client accounts while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to clients with varying levels of financial literacy A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning about evolving regulations like LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), securities law changes, or new tax legislation Join us if you're eager to make a meaningful impact through meticulous financial work combined with innovative problem-solving.
